Girl with a Vase II 1842 By Antonio Xavier Trindade - Famous Indian Art - Handmade oil painting on canvas
In this painting by Trindade, we see a young Indian woman sitting on a chair. Her head is lowered and her gaze is directed at something outside of the frame. She has a vase resting in her lap which she holds with both hands. She appears to be lost in her own thoughts. She is wearing a traditional Indian sari that is mauve in colour, with an orange and gold bodice. She is bejeweled with a necklace, earing and wrist bracelet. The overall mood is sombre and introspective.
This is an image of the famous artwork. We will hand paint a beautiful reproduction of this masterpiece in the size below.
