Manohar Das was an Indian Hindu painter. He was among the popular painters in the Mughal style. Manohar was taught by his father, who was also a court painter. Like many painters at that time, Manohar Das painted in the service of the emperors and their families. This explains why his works mostly depict life at court and that of the royal families. His famous work is "Emperor Jahangir Weighs Prince Kurram." Its subject, style, colours, as well as the intricate details, are all characteristics of Mughal paintings.
