This work of Robert Delaunay was a depiction of a Modern Paris that he interpreted in an Orphism style. A breaking down boundaries transformed Europe into a global community and became an iconic drama that marks the beginning of his own description of “DESTRUCTIVE” phase: all the solids became fragments and crumbled. He chose his subject of a vast space, atmosphere and light while evoking a sign of modernity, progress and urbanized community.
