Garden at Sainte-Adresse by Claude Monet - Famous Art - Handmade Oil Painting on Canvas
"Garden at Sainte-Adresse" is an 1867 oil painting by Claude Monet. He painted this during his stay with his family at Sainte-Adresse in Le Havre, France. It features an old man sitting on the foreground, perhaps Adolphe, Monet's father. Seated near Adolphe is a girl in white with a white parasol. Two figures, a young lady, perhaps Monet's cousin Jeanne, standing beside her father. They are on the garden, facing the English Channel, and on the horizon is a glimpse of the Honfleur harbour.
