He became part of the avant garde art scene and combined Cubism in his own aesthetics: the result is a shocking sensuousness and magical liveliness. His Cubist influence is highly apparent in his painting, Auccasin and Nicolette,” dedicated to the fellow artist and friend Marcel Duchamp.
